Cat on Rock

I didn't notice the cat while I was sizing up this landscape scene on my phone because he's the same colour as the rocks. I only saw him when I started looking at how to frame the rocks. Kitty was looking out over its kingdom so I tutted a few times to get its attention.

This might be my favourite photo of the year.

      Larger might be better, but, on the other hand, it's a nice little surprise as your eye goes around the frame. I did actually try to get closer, but stray cats here are very skittish and this one skinned it out of there as soon as I took a step forward.
