This fellow watched me and my camera for a while and then lost interest. Or perhaps he was thoughtfully looking off into the distance, like so many people do in portraits.

I'm a bit on the fence about this photograph, but my wife saw the 4x6 print this evening and said she liked it. So I guess it's a keeper.

My favourite part of the picture is the two little plants in the bottom left corner.

Hotel and Bus Stop

Look up. Waaaayy up. No Friendly Giant, alas, just the Sunrise Hotel. I was waiting for a bus and when I happened to raise my eyes I thought the roof of the bus shelter obscuring some of the hotel would make an interesting picture. I moved this way and that to get things like the roof frame and lamp to line up.
